US Bacula CEO, Heitor Faria, was present at the conference to speak about the Bacula Community 9.0 new features, including deduplicative backup volumes. Two vouchers were drawn for Bacula’s online videoclasses at Udemy.com <https://www.udemy.com/bacula-backup-software/learn/v4/overview>.

The Informatics Day Celebration Conference is an annual technological event held every August in the Federal Institute of Goiás Câmpus Luziânia. The conference focus on innovative computing topics that can be applied in the campus neighboorhood, as well as the contemporary major information technology challenges. Its first edition had 100 hours of total activities, with the collaboration of students, teachers, other campus staff, the whole Luziânia community and near cities, such as Brasília (Capital of Brazil).

The registration and issuance of certificates was carried out by the  Institute event management system, registering a total of 467 participants. The event included lectures, mini-courses, workshops and presentation of posters of scientific initiation works submitted to the event.
